Volume compiled by A. Baron Holmes containing clippings, letters, badges, programs from meetings and reunions, and other memorabilia relating to United Confederate Veterans, a Southern patriotic organization. Clippings contain information about the Palmetto Guard, veterans' reunions, and veterans. Letters are from United Confederate Veterans officials in South Carolina including C. Irvine Walker and G. Lamb Buist. The scrapbook includes printed resolutions, general orders, and announcements. The volume also includes programs and admission tickets from meetings and reunions in Charleston, Pickens, Anderson, and other locations in South Carolina, in Richmond (Va.), Nashville (Tenn.), Houston (Tex.), and Chicago (Ill.). Badges are primarily from reunions. Most contain the names of camps from South Carolina and elsewhere including Palmetto Guard Camp No. 315. Other ephemera include maps of reunion sites, calling cards, delegate certificates, and a Confederate flag.
